Chess Club MDA - Saturday - 26/27

The Monde des Arts chess club: Saturday classes for children, in Russian, from the first moves to confident play.

Beginners start with the rules, how the pieces move and simple checkmates; those who already play work on openings, tactics and their own games.

Chess teaches a child to think several moves ahead, to concentrate for an hour, to lose calmly and to learn from mistakes. And it all happens in Russian: one more hour of living language each week.

The class follows straight after the main programme, in the same school.
