Theatre Studio DRAMATEKA Kids 8+ - 26/27

The DRAMATEKA theatre studio teaches acting in Russian. It was founded by Juliet Ostretsova, a graduate of the GITIS directing faculty, a stage and screen actress, and a director with the New World Theatre Club.

A group for children from age 8. Here theatre is a game with rules: études, improvisation, work in pairs and as an ensemble, short scenes from fairy tales and children's books. Children learn to speak loudly and clearly, to dare to get things wrong in front of others, and to listen to a partner.

Classes use exercises from the Stanislavski and Michael Chekhov methods for imagination, attention and memory; articulation, breathing and tongue-twisters for clear speech; and études that release tension. No stage experience is needed. Pupils who wish to can perform in Monde des Arts productions.
